2006: Acquisition of Itech, a company specialising in biofertilisers based on bacteria and fungi, marking the foundation of Lallemand Plant Care.

Biostimulation: This approach is used to enhance plant resistance to stress while also stimulating natural processes to improve crop yield and quality.
Biofertilisation: This technique optimises soil resources by making nutrients more available, for example through atmospheric nitrogen fixation (legume rhizobacteria) or phosphorus solubilisation (bacteria such as Bacillus IT45). Mycorrhizal fungi associated with roots also enhance soil exploration, improving water and nutrient uptake.
