Product details

The fungus in LALSTOP G46 WG, Clonostachys rosea strain J1446, acts through several complementary modes of action:

Competition:

 • Rapid colonization of roots and aerial plant tissues, depriving pathogenic fungi of space and nutrients.

 • Growth on dead plant tissues, sealing wounds and forming an effective physical barrier at the preferred entry points of pathogens (saprophytism).

Hyperparasitism:

 • Attachment of hyphae to the pathogen, enzymatic degradation of its cell walls, penetration, and destruction of the host organism.

LALSTOP G46 WG provides effective control on a wide range of plant diseases, against:

 • Grey mould and stem cankers caused by Botrytis cinerea on grapes, leafy crops, tomatoes, peppers, cucurbits, ornamentals and soft fruit.
 • Powdery mildews on vines and edible crops.
 • Gummy stem blight caused by Didymella sp. on cucurbits.
 • Damping-off and root or base rot diseases caused by Pythium, Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium on vegetables, salads and ornamentals.
